PRODUCER COMPANY ACT IN TAMIL

Currently, a large number of producer companies are coming into existence and they have expressed a strong need for the basic material in Tamil. To address this demand, we produced this Tamil translation of the Producer Company Act (which forms a section of the Companies Act, 2013.)

We hope this will be of great help to the producer companies. We also plan to bring out similar material as a series in Tamil which will be of use to them.

PUBLICATIONS SUPPORTED BY FWWB

Friends of Women’s World Banking (FWWB), India, provided support to us towards the project “Capacity Building Support for Small and Marginal Farmers Producer Collectives in Tamil Nadu” in the year 2018. As part of this project, we, at CIKS, identified a set of persons who were trained as trainers on various topics including management and governance of farmer collectives, accounts, auditing, legal aspects, business planning and related areas. Subsequently, these trainers also provided training for a set of farmer leaders and the office bearers and staff of farmer collectives. As part of this effort, we also decided to prepare a series of eight books in English and Tamil on various aspects of the topics that were covered during the training programs and trainers’ training programs.

We are sharing these publications with you, in this section.
