Our office at Chennai has been shut down completely after 25th March. The Chennai team members are now working from home and actively in touch with each other and with the field teams.
Our TRC (Technology Resources Centre) which is in the village of Sukkankollai (about 90 kms from Chennai) is active with operations relating to conservation, planting, harvesting etc in full swing. The major limitation is that we do not have any meetings or gatherings and do not receive visitors .
Even though the funds are a challenge, we are trying to ensure that funds are being transferred for core farm operations. The TRC is also serving as a point for aggregation, sorting, packing and distribution of produce including some trips to Chennai for providing and supporting relief activities.
