Centre for Indian Knowledge Systems (CIKS) in partnership with Sempulam Sustainable Solutions exhibited their collection of traditional rice varieties at the International day for Biological Diversity 2019 celebrations hosted by the National Biodiversity Authority, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change at the Kalaivanar Arangam, Chennai on 22nd May 2019. Honourable Vice President of India Shri. M. Vengaiya Naidu, the Chief Guest of the event visited the CIKS stall and interacted with the officers. As part of creating market linkages for the farmer producer companies this event has opened potential avenues.
