CIKS has partnered with Sprouts High School to introduce a unique, hands-on training programme for students of Grades 6 and 7. This initiative is designed to immerse young learners in real-life farm experiences and sustainable practices.
A certificate is given at the end of 2 years. The certification event was held on March 26, 2025, at the CP Art Centre. During the programme, Dr. Vijayalakshmi delivered an insightful address to the gathering, which included enthusiastic parents who had come to celebrate the achievements of their children. She highlighted the Importance of retaining youth in agriculture. She also talked about how organic farming helps to combat climate change. Students spend 40 days in the farm over 2 years practically learning every aspect of farming and aural life.
